Do you need to weld all the 750 crank pieces? Or is it always a certain one moving ?

Thought I read someone saying it always the .....part that moves out of phase. Really don't want to weld all of them if not necessary .

You could probably get away with welding one side, ive havent heard of it though.

Given the time it takes to get to the cranks and the cost of gaskets, i believe it would be a mistake to cheap out on the welding of one side.

Having done the job a few times its still a good days work, for the sake of saving $50 i wouldn't do it myself.

On your way out you might want to peel your head gasket ;)

ok. thanks I was give/bought over a dozen cranks. most come to find out were welded and had some kind of problem.(junk) just got a whole pile of junk welded cranks:(

I have 800 crank if you want it. Don't know if it's good or not. It forced the pistol skirt through the case.
