Does anyone have any experience in removing or replacing the crankshaft gears in the center of the cases on a 800 crankshafts??
I cant figure out how to remove chipped gear, it got messed up due to a failure in the water pump gear driven, otherwise all else is good.???
don't want to cause further issues with cranks due to lack of experience
 

The 8BU-11543 ($367) gears are discontinued with Yamaha. We have a good used gear for $100. We can install it, true the crank, index the gear, and weld it for $250. Call Mark @ 715-234-6195 if interested
 
It is sad but most everything for both engines is becoming discontinued. We have 800 and 750 stock replacement Wiseco piston kits, head gaskets, base gaskets, inner and outer crankshaft seals, wrist pin bearings, and more to come. We also have lots of used crankshaft parts if needed. Call 715-234-6195 and ask for Mark
