1995 Vmax4 800 Start up Dashlights

When you first start the sled the TORS light blinks a few times.
The water temp light does not blink. Is this normal for the water temp light not flash upon start up or could the bulb be no good?

is there anyway to test the light to make sure it works?
Is it a LED bulb or glass bulb?

Glass bulb...to test, you could disconnect the wire from the sensor and just ground it out (while the sled is running) the sensor just completes the ground when the water gets too hot..

The dash lights should come on for a few seconds then fade away. That is to let you know if your bulbs are working or not. Sounds like the system is doing it's job, your water temp light, and maybe the oil light, need attention.

Thanks guys for the info.
the oil light went on when I was low on oil but since filled it the light does not come on when starting.
I will check both bulbs to be safe.
