First drg for me and the 4.

I think Rec Leisure still has a place in Livonia not a hundred percent sure but it was there a year ago

Rec Leisure went to mostly street bike stuff with what was left of they're snowmobile inventory seemed like. The mini-bike guy went off on his own with a little shop with lil indian stuff. Now there's an Allied Leisure place. They must of re-something and came back as a similar store http://www.alliedleisurecorp.com/

Opsled, reading your play by play I realized it must of been quite fun and exciting to be making a great showing. I'm curious as to what was the oldest sled competing?

I would like to see the video. Thinking the over all feel of the video will set a good mood even if it's hard to see.

As far as age goes there was a ton of vintage there but my 92 was the oldest in my classes.

Setting it up was fun. My final setup had my engagement down from 5100 to 4600 which didn't help me but it did improve the pull once out of the gate. My earlier one would have had me falling down on the big end. That came Sat night. Ran outa time and went with it. It still launched great but there was speed left on the bench at my shop With a better test track and a bit more time I could have found it. I'm sure I ran out of gear in the finals of stock. One vid clearly shows me out in front of the SRX and an 800 Rev. The rev must have squeaked me at the end. A playback tach would have told the story. The track was to rough to watch mine. I did mark my clutches before I ran and the marks were completely gone. The tach would have told me when I was fully shifted as the R's would have went up afterwords.

The vids are still in my sons phone. I will try to get him to upload them (out of my realm).

Here's a link to pics but my sled is not in any of them. I am standing behind a friends Nitro in one that I was helping at the line. That's it.. (must been to quick fer the camera lol).

Here's a cool vid from 09 and My buddy Donny (The Dude) Avery's 77SRX. Second run in the vid. Been helpin him for years. He's returned the favor ten fold with his knowledge. Great Guy.

That racing stuff is so hectic, surprising the Vmax-4 does so good in that environment. I would think they would just clean up in a race like the Daytona 500, Looked for a stunning dude but couldn't find one.....lol...... Seen the SRX ski stand, what a machine.

Pulled the tarp and cover off that '97 I bought new for the first time in years.
