Found a gear that has 33 and 8bu stamped on it and 24 thats same width. 750 or 800? Wondering what years they may fit and are they worth anything?

It should be close to 17mm, but it refers to the plates on the chain. 92's were 13, 93/94 were 15 and the 800's were all 17. For value, you are looking at about $30 for a top gear used, and $50 or so for a lower. They can go for more, but those prices I gave are a reasonable used price.

When you upgrade a 750 to an 800 chaincase do you need to have the 800 axle or will the 750 axle work. ?

Those are 125mph gears. 8bu means they're 17 wide. I just bought a 33 gear from yamaha and it cost me around 140 bucks out the door.
