no more spark

i take a ride the other day with my 1993 vmax4 everiting working find until i let im idle for maybe 30 sec and boom,nothing no more spark at all..every time i pull the crank i see my light came on so i probably got some fire coming from my stator,and i dont thinf the 2 coil fail at the same time,but it can apen,so my Gest is,its probably my cdi.What do you think about it?some body know a way to test a stator and the coil?for the cdi i dont think i can test that i will have to find one and try it?Is somebody can help me with that probleme,just got enaught snow to ride it ant my first ride bang..really want to fix it and enjoy it
 

stator is mostlikely your problem when mine went it would light the head light but not spark the plugs ,look in old thread for no spark there was a way to test on that hope u find ur problem
 
Check all the switches, stator/CDI connections, harness, etc. Could just be a bad switch, pin pushed back in a connector, corrosion, cut/pinched wire.

Many simple things could cause this.
