RPC twins

picked up a set of RPC twins with muffler, thinking of installing on my 96, i cant find any info on these pipes. in know they are lighter, and i do like a litte more sound than stock, can i expect any performance gains over stock and how loud will it be

I don't think RPC made twins for an 800. They did for a 750. I doubt you'll see any gain in performance. You may even lose some HP. Weight savings will be minimal and not effect performance. They will probably be louder, I've never hear a sled with them run.

I wouldn't bother with them if it were me. Those 800's run REAL strong with stock twins if clutching is right and everything else is in good tune. If you want more sound the Bender can is great. No performance gain and not much lighter than stock but the sound is really nice. Not overbearing so you won't pi$$ others off or get tired of it yourself.
