Dean, you have lots of the info in the email file v1n4 I sent you.
You must keep the rpm right at 7500, NO more (trust me)!

Use 1990 exciter needle jets, 270~290 mj to start. Power jet pluged/blocked off.

Chris, I never thought about those files..DUH !!!!
Anyhow, this is my wifes sled, the only reason it's getting this pipe is because the stock one is rotted out. I just dont want to be to lean to start with, or working on it all of the time...LOL.
Hopefully it only has to make this season. I want to get her a new one next year, but we'll have to see...:)

How do you block the power jet off ???????

Most of them had been done at dealer prep. Just make sure the hose from the float bowl going to the intake of the carb is pluged so it can't draw fuel.

Do I cut the hose and plug both sides ? I know the 3 Exciters I have had they have all been hooked up...HMMMMMM ?????

DEAN, WE BLOCKED THE POWER JETS ON OLD SRX,s WHEN WE RACED THEM YEARS AGO AND JUST RAN A FIXED MAIN JET. WAY BETTER FOR TUNEING. TRY AND GET LIKE GASKET SEALENT IN THE LINE, OR I BELIEVE WE USED LIKE REMEBER THE KIDS PLAY DOUGH. YOU JUST DON,T WANT FUEL DRAW,IN !! 3:16 (tony)

DEAN, JUST LIKE CHRIS SAYS, JUST GET A BLOCKAGE AT BOWL WHERE IT PLUGS IN, THAN FORGET ABOUT IT. CAN,T DRAW BECAUSE OF BLOCKAGE. !! 3:16 (tony)

But wont it draw air through the line ? Or dont it matter ????

I can use a vacuum line type cap on there with a small clamp ?

IT CAN,T DRAW ANYTHING AIR OR FUEL BECAUSE ITS PLUGED. I NEVER LIKED POWER JET CARBS, PAIN IN THE ASS TO TELL YA THE TRUTH. !! 3:16 (tony)

You can do any of the above. I just push a BB in the line and plug it back in.
