chat wont work

just wondering i can never get into chat. does it work for anyone? i have the latest java downloaded.

says java startup error. the java spash screen comes up for a second then goes away.

Chat was an experiment that the Capt'n and I had working last year. He had to set up my permissions and stuff to get it working. We did use it a couple of times, but there didn't seem to be much interest by other members to use it. My guess is that it has been disabled. I get a java security exception error message when I try to start it. It tells me that access is denied.


Anyone who would like to get the chat function working should post here. I'm sure the Capt'n will see it and look into it if there's enough interest.

Edit: I just did the applet check from the help page and it says that the URL specified is invalid.
