I was talking about something related to the last night... Why isn't yamaha making something new? Back in 88, they had the phazer/exciter look, the inviter, sno-scoot, SRV, and what else.. More, that what I know.. I'm to lazy to look right now.. LOL!

The new Yamaha's have supposedly been spotted at a couple of locations this past weekend. One report I heard was of a Sno-X style sled that resembled a Redline with front shocks that were over 20" long. They said the sled looked like it had monster suspension travel. That one was spotted in Michigan's UP.
Jimmy Blaze was also testing this same sled I think in Colorado and he said it would be a huge surprise when it was released.
Also someone said that they saw a new lightweight mountain sled in Cooke City, Montana. Possibly a super/turbo charged twin.
I can't wait to see..

It's kind of aggrivating, I would guess that Yamaha is already well into designing and testing 2009+ models. They release a new groundbreaking sled knowing that they already have something better ready to go that will soon replace it. Thats how you make money I guess.
You think the 2006 sleds are awesome, wait until 2009 rolls around:bowdown:

At least it's not like the computer industry where there is a new model out every 3 months (IBM). By the time you get it home, set up and turned on, there is a new updated version of it on the shelf.
