I know there were some updates done to the Vmax's between '94 and '95, but I like my '95, it's got plenty of power for everyday riding and it has been very reliable. Not the most comfortable sled to ride, but what sled was back in '94? IMO, they are great looking sleds and I would reccomend it!

oops, I guess I'm not really sure what type of vmax we are talking about here. I assumed it was just a regular vmax 500 or 600 and not a V4.

well whatever vmax he is talking about they were all bullet proof, for reliability. They are after all yamaha's

thanks for the responses. are there any problems that happen commonly with a v max around this time period?

If your talkin about a Vmax 4 it was the last year of the 750cc - so all the updates were done by 94. I would consider it a good year (IMO).

How much? what condition? any upgrades? what size? what kind of riding do you like to do, rough trail, hi speed lake runs, ect.?
dont mean to get carried away with the questions, but there are few factors to consider?

there is nothing bad that happens "commonly" that I have ever heard of, other than blasting past your friends like there setting still on thier new sled.:D, and thats only bad because then thier becomes the jelous factor between you and your riding buddy. LOL

1994 Vmax 600 for $650. I havent gotten ahold of the seller yet to ask any questions.
For me it would mostly be trails but i do live by several lakes. I know they arnt the best trail sleds out there but im not concerned with that i want something that will be reliable over all i would say.

for $650 I'd say go for it, you can always improve the ride as you save some money.

the vmax600 is the most reliable thing i have ever driven. i punished it severly for many years with no problems until last year.
