looking good Ghodder, those rx-1 skis you have on there are the ski loops original red or are they black painted red?? just wondering as I am installing my RX-1 skis this weekend and would like to have red loops....if they are painted what type of paint did you use?

That's a very nice custom looking sled. You did a good job with it. The thicker seat looks comfy, but I gotta tell you, I think I would miss the stock low backrest to keep my butt on the seat during acceleration!

ALP, yes frony suspension is stock.
SRV540, those are red ski loops on the RX-1 skis.
Mark The Shark - I agree, I will miss the little hump .... we got over 30cms of snow in the last 2 days so I had a chance to try the new setup ... and I did notice that I get sucked back on the seat under hard acceleration, but I keep my feet hooked into the foot wells so I don't move back too much.


But guys, in all honesty the higher seat makes a world of difference for riding because I can sit further forward centralizing my weight ... all bumps are a joke now and I can approach banks and drifts standing with the higher bar, and the sled soaks up the landing ... without me sitting ... it makes a huge difference, I would highly recommend the change to anyone looking to improve the ride quality of the vmax-4.

I put about 50kms on the sled last night, and the seating postion is like being on the new 06 Yammis. Its now my favorite mod to the sled, even better than the Quad pipes!!!

i hope to find a place that can do the seat for me too. other wise i will do it myself.
