Foot wells?

Will the foot rests off of a 1996 Vmax XT fit my 1997 V4? I don't know if they are the same, anyone know? The part I am talking about is the aluminum piece in the footwell that you rest your feet on. I need one and know someone selling a set off his '96 XT.

Based on looking at the part numbers on oem parts list, they are the same although the 96 XT are priced higher than the Vmax 800. Kinda weird, the 800 parts should be higher priced. Did a part number check by going to www.xtremepowersports.com site. They have oem parts listing you can walk through online. Have used this a few times to see what body parts are interchangeable between the vmax series. Check it out & see what you think.
Also saw a left side footrest for a v4 on ebay earlier today along with a wiring harness & rear bumper frame for 94 v4. Hope this helps,Rob
