Staggered jetting

Does anyone jet there carbs in a staggered fashion with the 2 inside cylinders 1 size leaner than the 2 outside cylinders? What would be the reason for doing this? I cant get a hold of the guy who suggested it anymore. He said he tested it with EGTs and was good. Why would it make a difference to have the 2 inside cylinders leaner? just curious

I think the main reason is cooling. Water flows better via midle cylinders. My 0.02.

THEY DID THAT ON THE SRX, PTO WAS RICHER THAN CENTER AND MAG. THEY DID NOT DO THIS ON THE VMAX 4. JETTING WAS SAME SIZE ACROSS THE BOARD. !! 3:16 (tony)
