Here is a LOW COST Way to Upgrade to a Hydraulic Brake on the VMax4. I bought a master cylinder and caliper from a Vmax 600 for $10.00 on Ebay and a Rotor off of a '97 Vmax on Ebay for $1.00. The Rotor will need some machining on the Bore to open it up to 1.065 (I think the stock size is 1.00 but I'm not sure yet because i dont have it yet. I'm just going off of what the seller told me). The stock rotor will also work fine for this set up - but could warp from heat after a while. I made a Billet Aluminum bracket that I machined up at work to adapt the new caliper onto the existing chain case. THe most expensive part of the whole deal is the Russell Brake Line & Fittings. It cost around $65.00 - $70.00. It's a bolt-on swap that Looks Like a Factory Set-Up. I have enclosed Pictures - Check them out!! On the pictures - I don't have the rotor yet, I'm waiting for it from Ebay.

Yes, But how did you do that? I never could figure this out. :banghead:
Nice job on the brake!!
It looks like you have the top half of your air boxes hiding your K&N's.
