hey guys, i finaly get the ole lady`s sled finished up, and it seams to run "okay" but seams really doggy. its about 40 degree`s out right now, and really humid, and raining, so much so, that my peice of crap van wont even start.:cussing: (think I have a bad cap, and definantly need wires)
Anyway, I`m wondering if this may be contributing to how its running? we have no snow so I cant get it out, and run it down the road or anything, but I have reved it up a bit, and the low end is really doggy, ya pretty much have to feather the thumb lever to get the rpms to come up. But once they do, it seams like it would really take off. so does anyoe have any thoughts on this? thanks! AL P

Agree^....I guess I would just wait till it cools down and you can test. I had my wifes sled out Saturday Indy 340 fan, was like 35 degrees and it ran "ok" And I thought It was just my big ass on it was making it doggy. but we put on a 100 miles and the last part it was dark and had dropped about 10-15 degrees (to 20) and it had alot more get up and go...I would say it was just running fat. I suppose the littler sleds (less hp) you can really feel it. I would guess that 340 only make around 40 hp(at best) lose a few and I supose you are really going to feel that.
