Hey Greg, a few quick questions? did you make those brackets on your rear skid to drop down the suspension? and what paint did you use on your pipes??? thanks in advance!

The sled is an excellent cruiser and loves to stretch its legs on the groomed trails.

I'm running the PSI Trail Blaster quads which are pretty quite for Quads, not much louder than stock. We don't have any noise regulations for rereational vehicles where I live so no probs with enforcement groups yet, since our gov. is just getting around to making trail passes mandatory.

The brackets were from a scrapped 95 vmax600 ST that I came across, they don't look stock, but mounted on very nicely. with great support on the inside of the tunnel.

I've had great success with using a good base of high heat 1200 degree F as the first layer, usually a white or red base and then apply 3 coats of 500 degree F Duplicolor Metellic Paint. This year they're hot Metellic orange.

First few rides the paint bakes, and you get some fumes, nothing serious. The metallic paint bonds really well and is very resistant to flakes and rust and you only need to paint every 2 years.
