Here is the deal, we were having a hard time getting lowering tubes to drop the front suspension. I talked to a machine shop and asked them to CNC cut the tubes out of solid stock. He quoted $350.00 per set. I told him to build two sets. Waited until November, were'nt done. JMinor needed a set too, so sent the drawing to Canada where Josh and his buddy made me 3 sets. $55.00 per set, did one hell of a nice job. Added yellow zinc plating, another $20.00 per set. Tuesday of this week the guy shows up with the other tubes. Brakes and Racer 7X needs tubes which leaves one set left. $75.00 plus shipping. I know some of the guys wanted them but it was to late as Josh had already started on them. If anyone needs a set, let me know and I will give you the details. I'm sure they won't be around long. These tubes leave 2 inches of remaining travel in the front which is the max ISR will allow. Did'nt want to post in the classifieds without an explanation on these tubes, they are NOT for trail set-up.
Dean, Rej, if your not happy with this post here, give me the "PENALTY"

They are strictly for drag racing Rej. If you want to set up a sled for drags, I'll save them for you, they would be a death-wish for trail riding

Thats the way I would like to go with the sled project. Make her a bullet for drags on ice and hopefully asphalt.:muahaha: Less than 2 hours away from my home there is a track for asphalt races. Would love to go there someday and kick some ass. Thanks for holding those parts for me I will put them on the project sled. :super: :urock:

I don't think those tubes are legal for asphalt. I think you need the shorter tubes. I have a set of those too. I will double check the rule book, either way, I have a set for you

Skinner,

Thanks!!

I work part time at Port so I am not always there, but I'll give the Boyz a heads up that you might be stopping in with some goodies.

I'm assuming you are from the Brew Town area??

Riemond, you use the same springs and all the same suspension components. The tube is the spring keeper replacement.

Thanks Blue for the info,
Rej, I'll throw a set in your in your crate

LKN4SNO, I'm in Manitowoc, PM or post what hours you are usually there, would like to talk to you about some of the parts you have posted. Hav'nt been to Sir James for awhile, last time I was there about 8 of us took my boat and ended up in Port Marina overnight. Tried to take the trip around the world and never made it out of the harbor (LOL)

If anybody needs these, let me know and I will see what the machine shop will charge to cut more. The program is already paid for in the CNC, its just a matter of material and time to machine.

Thanks guys
