I still need an 800 secondary, but other than that good to go. Trying to figure out how to afford turbo for RX-1.

Calling for lows in the low 30's this weekend with chances of snow flurries overnight, finally, the season is coming.

Clean carbs, look for needle washers, may be missing?
install pipes,
replace some studs (note to self, get back with rich),
duct tape seat,
check chaincase oil, maybe change oil,
replace burned out head light AGAIN!,
remove suspension and figure out why it does`nt line up with the track slide area correctly, (no tunnel does`nt appear to be bent)
I think this is about it for now, but I`m sure there will be a few other things before i can actually ride.

ole lady`s sled

replace atleast 5 suspension wheel bearings,
get new pto side crank bearing, and press it on, already got the old one off
get replacement primary clutch (bieng that i broke the perfectly good old one)
get comeplete gasket kit
get new piston rings
hone out cylinders
stud track
Cant remember what else i may have to do to it right now.

Buy ski mask for my master minds plan on comming up with the money to acomplish the above. LOL

Well, yesterday I installed the carbs, airbox, installed and aligned the clutches, fitted cables, a bit work on the hood that I made but nothing big anymore, some filler and paint.

Thanks! That probly won't get any bids at that price, so once the auction ends I'll contact them and see if we can make a deal. ;)

I just got my truck put back together tonight and I'm going out of town on a training course for the next two weeks. When I get back I'm going to have to focus on the sleds. The Viper is good to go, the Vmax-4 needs extroverts and clutch tuning, the Vmax XT needs a new left front suspension (I'm in the market for used parts).

Here are a couple of pictures of the truck, front suspension was rebuilt and dropped, 2.5" spindles and 2" drop springs. The last two photos were taken in the dark so the quality isn't the best. Next year the rear gets dropped 4" to match the front.

Not even close....I have parts from one end of the garage to the other. But last night I started up all 3 sleds and let them run for 10 minutes. I love the smell of 2 strokes. The wifes indy lite 1/2 pull (gotta love the fan 340). the Exciter 5-6 pulls, and the Vmax about 10 pulls. (1/2 pull when warm). leaving this weekend to the cabin to do our deer stands and clear trails. I love this time of year. Hunt.....then snowmobiling is just around the corner.

I am going to change out my jackshaft bearing on the secondary side this weekend. Is there any tricks to this. Also clean carbs, check jetting and plum up the vent tubes.
Does anyone know of a tech post on the bearing change out. Not sure how to check to see if there is one.
