I've looked thru most of the old posts and found nothing.I wanna go with YammieGods fast trail clutch kit with my 1994 750. Anyone remeber the Helix angles? If I remember correctly it's not the same as the 800 and I do still need the SRX tall cover right? B-3 secondary stock spring right?
Thanks fella's I'm gonna clutch it and see what I've been missing....even if I'm riding on grass.

43/37 or 42/37 is ok also, 43-37 is a custom cut only.

It's going to depend on what primary spring you use.

I wrote down this Yammiegods fast trail setup. It`s for 750 with 800 pipes.

Hauc blue primary spring (tall cover needed)
89A-10 weights with 17,2 inner and 13,9 tip
43/37 or 42/37 Helix
stock secondary spring in B-3

This may need some fine tuning, but should be close. I haven`t tested it, but I wrote down what Yammiegod told to other members.

I also have a quick question, if you have the small blue hauck, then the tall cover is not necessary, but can you still use the newer weights? And also is it possible to use the older primary with the 800 secondary?
Thanks, Lewis
Sry for stealing micultra. :D

DUDE, RUN THE HAUCK BLUE PRIMARY, WITH 1 SHIM. RUN A 4500 ENGAGEMENT. RUN THE 89A-10 WEIGHTS. LOADED. ANOTHER WORDS 17.2 RIVETS IN BOTH HOLES (may need to fine tune rpm). NOW, WHAT SECONDARY YOU HAVE HERE BECAUSE THATS THE 800 HELIX. THE HELIX SELECTION FOR THE 750 IS VERY SLIM, SO IF YA NEED TO RUN A 750 HELIX, RUN THE 43-37 HELIX AT B-3 WITH STOCK SPRING. !! 3:16 (Tony)

Haha, yeah I have been doing my homework :) Micultra the difference is the length, I'm not sure of what the lengths are, as I was too dumb to remember to mesure mine last time I was at my dads.
Plus, what else is needed to change to an 800 secondary, if it works as I asked previosly.
Thanks, Lewis

The difference in the Hauck springs is easy. The older springs are less than 5 coils. Hauck added 1/2 a coil to the springs to cut down on breakage. The new springs are greater than 5 coils. Just count the number of full coils from one of the spring ends.

I think the old blue springs are about 4 3/4 coils and the new ones are about 5 1/4 coils.

I personally wouldn't recommend using shims with a Hauck Blue spring, but that just my opinion.

The 89A-10 are the stock weights for the 750's.

It is my understanding that the the 8BU's (95/96 800 weights) will give you better acceleration.

The primary's are basically the same and will work with either secondary.
