before the board crashed, I remember someone was asking questions about just using one layer of the head gaskets or going with the two layer on thier 92, well anyway, i just ran across some info that was sent to me awhile back by a memeber here, and seen in it where it said that in 93 they went to the two layer head gaskets for raised compression, and it also said that the 92 three layer gaskets were .6mm, and the 93 and up were .4mm. someone on here told me that for every .001 you gain about 1 lb compression, so who ever it was that was asking about this, if you go with the two layer gaskets on your 92, you should gain about 8lbs compression. just thought i would post this for whoever it was that was asking. EDIT: i know it was already stated about them going to a two layer gasket on the 93`s due to raising the ports, but thought it was worth posting about the thickness of the two differant head haskets.
