Here's a few from todays fishing trip with my kids. The day before the fish were caught every 2 minutes. I missed alot today due to being busy with the kids. The fish took most of my bait before I could hook them. Oh well will get more maybe tomorow. I shure wished that I had brought that camera the other day. Anyways enjoy the photos.....

Just in from the ride across the lake to our hut.

Well I have been working long hours at work and every chance I get to go out fishing with the kids I go. All the wood for the hut was free from a friend of mine. He can use it anytime he wants. It's at a lake close to my home only 8 minutes away. And there is 2' of ice hope to use it till the end of March. Thanks again for the nice replys. Hope to have another boy or girl 3 would be nice. All depends of the wife will see when my daughter turns 2 years old.

You can see it in this photo. I picked it up for $35 dollars uses propane and is 3,000 btu's. Works real good for a small size hut. The kids know it's hot and stay away from it. Also the dome steel shield works great to direct the heat. To buy that small propane bottle they cost $4 bucks we will see how long it last.

If you are ever in the Sudbury area your welcomed to come fishing. It's alot of fun when you go out with a bunch of people. My kids love the outdoors can't wait for some more fishing in the summer. Will have access to a boat this year. A 14' Aluminum with a 7.5 Mercury engine. It will be perfect for trolling and getting close to the weedbeds for some Bass fishing.

Think I'll stick to a 120 HP cobia sportster, or a 140 HP ( crate motor ) Forester..

The boats we both got dirt cheap.. We got the cobia for $1000USD, and the forester for $20 USD, yes, $20.. It had hit a couple rocks and needed work.. We got the engine, 2 Z 570 engines, for $500..

I rained the other day and it's been nice spring weather outside. Over 2 feet of ice on the Lake that I am on. There were 4 x4 trucks outhere today. Some slushy spots but still enough snow to run the sled without problems. I hope to go out tomorow afternoon for a few hours. I might even go late at night to see how the fish bite. Thanks for the kind replys guys. If any of you are ever in my area will gladly take you all out for some ice fishing.

Hey Doug you should see all the Quads on the Lake. Even when it gets a little slushy out there they are still booting around. You could shure put allot of miles on the one that Lisa's likes to drive around your place. There planning here in Sudbury to open all the 1,400km of Snowmobile trails to 4-wheelers in the summer. I heard that all the Recreational ATV dealers,STP Trail plan people and the City were having meetings. Should bring in alot of tourism and they will have more volunteers to maintain the trail plan.

Well just wanted to say that it took alot of late nights to make that hut for the kids. Then getting the sled ready and in tip top shape. Not to mention packing all the kids stuff dressing them in warm clothes to go out fishing. But when you go out and he's so happy holding his first fish of the day makes Dad so happy. I hope that next winter we can have a better season for catching the bigger fish Pike and Pikeral.
