I hear ya.. I've never ridden on a lake that I've heard was unsafe.. Somone recently drove a pickup a cross a lake about 100 miles from here, and fell trouugh.. DEAD.. The lakes near my house, are proven to be able to hold 2 or more pickup trucks.. I wouldn't even drive a car accross a lake.. only a sled, or my own 2 feet..
