How tight for nylon lock nuts for studs?

How much should I tighten the nylon lock nuts on the studs? Do I have to torque them? I have round plastic backers, if that makes a difference.

20-25lft.lbs.if you dig the nut into the backer your to tight.i set the air pressure on my gun and have at it.or if you have a 18 volt or bigger cordless with torque sensor that works also.
