I am half way there! I think I am going to take a break for today. I know the studs are very close to the heat exchangers on the top. I hope they will be ok. The colors look different on the wheels and studs but they are alot closer then what the picture shows. Our good camera broke!

They are the Extreme Max with the Extreme Max Backers. The studs are 1.25 inches. Thanks for the compliments. I know everyone has said they are safe to run but withthe heat exchanger protectors on the top, they are very close.

wow, nice work!
Now I would't want to ride it and get it dirty.

Better to just ride Lisa's sled and keep yours like that!! J/K

It should hook up real well. Did you install protectors for the rear heat exchanger also? :sheep

Wow Doug, your sled is really looking good! I'm officially jealous. Now just be careful not to scratch that garage floor with the studs and carbides!:D

fastmax- yes. I did install them.

Shark - TO LATE about the scratches. Man, the carbides and studs, really screw up an epoxy floor! At least they sent a touch up kit. Oh well, looking at the sled it was worth it.

toydoc- I don't think I could just leave it sit in there, no matter if it was brand new. I can not wait to ride it. I am sure Lisa would have something to say about it just sitting in there and just riding hers!

Hey roadrunner when you say the studs are 1.25", is that measurement from the top surface of the track or the total length of the stud?

Izz,
The total length of the stud is 1.50''. There is 1.25'' sticking up from the top of the track. May I ask, why you ask?
