Alright guys, here`s a new one. its reguarding how the spring engagemnet, rate is measured?
Lets use a 45 2.25 120 spring for example:
if 45lbs is the engagement, is that the wieght it takes get the spring to begin to move from free lenght? or how much wieght it takes after its in a clutch when already compressed X from the cap? i mean, are they saying when the spring is already compressed some from bieng sandwhiched in the clutch, its going to take 45lbs to get it to move from there?,
Secondly, the last number 120lbs
does that mean how much wieght to completly compress the spring? or how much wieght to completly close the clutch? in other words, would that be to stack the spring, or to fully engage that clutch? or niether?
