Does anyone know what size the speedo drive bearing is on the 800's?

Big and unique! You can try to find one but not readily available from bearing supplies or not at all. Yamaha specific and about $40...Blue

Or $65 will get you a 62/22 2rs silicon nitride (ceramic) bearing.

Sorry,I should have posted what I bought and why.
I have replaced all the bearings in my 80 and they are all simple sealed double roller type.
Are the ceramic bearings that much better is my question for the money.Sorry for confusion,I had a few pops last night and probably shoud not have been near the computer

ahhh, got it. What your saying is "beer is good"!
I'm with ya, beer is very good!
And yes the internet + beer can be trouble at times.

Kidding aside, I just listed links to find a 62/22 bearing in most brands and ceramic if someone wanted them. Thats it, just a helpful link. I have used most all of them and they are all fine. If the seal comes off or it gets water in it you will have a bad bearing in time. I also found ten 62/22's on e bay for $60. But what do you do with the other 9?

They were for the bogie wheels,I am experiencing what seems to be tighness in something that was causing it to not want to take off to well.Like it was binding up or too tight. The track tension is what the manual calls for so I though I would go through all the drive train bearings and replace tham all.I have except for the chaincase top and bottom which seem to be tite and rite.I have a new 102 comet and replaced the jack shaft pillow block bearing too but it still seems bound up.My next step is going to be swapping carburators to round slides from the stock ones.
I know that has nothing to do with the bearings but just trying to not leave out info.
