If i'm reading you right.... anti ratchet drivers are the same size as standard drivers. The only difference is they drive thru the track windows as well as the internal lugs which does not effect the ratio. If you are currently using 2.52 pitch drivers[ stock] and switch to 3 pitch drivers then you will change the ratio. One thing i did notice when i went to anti ratchets[ if your rail tips run close to your drivers] they might hit the lugs on the drivers .I had to trim a little off the end of my rails.

hontri is right, but if u go 3 pitch, you need a 3 pitch track to go with it. it can also bring some vibration with it. and 3 pitch seems more suitable for the rockies due the the spacing between the paddles.

whats wrong with the normal 9 tooth? is it ratcheting? tighten it a turn or 2 until it doesnt do it no more, for flat land it should be ok.

so pretty much a 9 tooth extroverts and a cutting of the rails if what u need if you choose them. hope it makes sence, i just got home from the bar lol:rockon:

Hey Busted Max, do the drivers have a 1" ID? or 1 1/16"? Al what driver did you get? as I plan on getting a set of Micro Belmont Engineering drivers...pricey though @ $115 each canadian.

I used wahl bros. Seems to be a great product. Got 1" shaft anti ratchets on the max 2.52 pitch, and 1 1/16" shaft 3 pitch on the polaris, and yes you need a 3 pitch track for the 3 pitch drivers and make sure all the windows are cut to use either size of anti ratchets.A lot of tracks do not have all the windows cut!

Thanks guys for the reply`s.
I`m gonna be putting a M-10 supension on, and was wanting to go with the extrovert drivers, so i would`nt posibley end up with ratcheding problems, plus i like to run my track a little loose anyways. I just could`nt remember if it was the 8 or 9 tooth drivers that were the same ratio as the stock ones. I`ll likely be using my stock track..I just replaced all the worn studs on it, less then a few hundred miles ago.

how much do them wahl bro`s drivers cost if ya dont mind me asking?

I used 1 1/16 on my max4..9T...You just have to watch the window driver knubs don't hit the front of the rails..You need alot of clearance there..But they work !:4fzfk2:

Anyone running a M-10 suspension on thier vmax4? if so, do you have anti ratchet drivers, and did the drivers clear the rails on your M-10 without modification?
Thanks. AL

Hey AL P, I´m running M10 on my V4 but I´m not running extro´s but are considering to buy them for my V4. My M10 is relocated 3½ inch and extended to fit the 136 track I´m running.

You can buy the ski-doo extro´s that also fits Yamaha sleds at Tracks USA or any other ski-doo dealer for about 50$ each. They are available to fit 1 1/16 axles and come in 9 and 10 tooth versions for 2.52 pitch tracks.

looks like I will give the skidoo extro's a try.......they are said to be far better then the others on the Market and cheaper to boot! An hell, if Mike Napp only uses these, they must be somewhat good! Thanks 4stroker!
