DID A TEST LAST NIGHT IN MY DRIVEWAY WITH MY 96 800. I HAD BACK LIFTED UP ON WHEELER. NOW ACCORDING TOO MY GAS GAUGE, THE NEEDLE READ BELOW THE '' E ''. THE SLED DID FIRE BUT ONLY CYLINDER,S 2-3. I THAN ADDED TWO GALLONS OF GAS, GAUGE READ ABOUT 1/4, LEFT SLED IN THE AIR AND BANG , ALL FOUR KICKED IN. NOW WHERE THE INPORTANCE COMES IN HERE IS SAY YOUR FLYING DOWN A LAKE, AND YOUR NEEDLE TOUCHES '' E '' ON GAUGE, THIS CAN BE TROUBLE. I WOULD SAY ATLEAST 2 GALLONS AT ALL TIMES IN TANK FOR THESE BEASTS. GUYS JUST FOOD FOR THOUGHT!!! ITS GETTING BORING, NEED TO GRASS RACE. 3:16 (tony)

Is this a way to try and make my sled heavier than yours for jacobeys?LOL! Good info Tony, but if you had the sled tilted forward what little gas you had would sit in the front of the tank away from the pickup. We do need grass, got anywhere where I can test over there? I'm having trouble finding a spot right now.

Josh, don't you work near a golf course? Tell them you will help aerate the greens, I'm sure they would appreciate the offer

I usually have several places in my yard that are aeriated so well that I don't have to mow that strip for awhile. :D :D :D
Isn't there a little indent in the bottom of the tank where the fuel filter/pickup should settle? Whenever I siphon gas out at the end of the season, there's always one place that I can get that last little bit out of it.
