Not long ago we were looking for information on this awesome machine. Well I have been looking all over the net! And last night found a article on it. But we need a translator because it looks to be writen in Finn. I'll add the link for you all to check it out. I hope we can get one of our guys from Finland to let us know what was written about it.

Here's a photo...

It looks like two motors with twin pipes. Look at the space between the front and back two

What's he saying here?

Men utvecklingen går framåt och Paul monterade

fyra stycken 750 kubiks V-Max 4 motorer på sin Sno-King.

Maybe it says "a bad ass Yamaha that goes real fast"?

"Men utvecklingen går framåt och Paul monterade
fyra stycken 750 kubiks V-Max 4 motorer på sin Sno-King. Insprutning och metanoldrift gav den 680 kg tunga snöskotern en rejäl knuff med hjälp av sina 650 hästar.
Sno-King slog flera rekord och körde sin sista strip 1996.

Sedan dess har Budweisern legat på is (he he he). "

It´s in swedish, but I´ll try my best. I should be able to translate it since swedish is the other language here. But heyy, I think not all of the canadiens can speak french...

"But evolution goes forward and Paul mounted four 750 cc v-max 4 engines to his Sno-King. Methanolinjection gave the 680 kg snowmobile a considerable force with the help of 650 hp. Sno-King ran many records and it´s final run was in 1996.

Luckily after that Budweiser has been legal (for me ?) he he he"

They built one with 4 Vmax-4 engines, and another one with a blown small block Chevy on nitrous that was 1800HP. Check them out here: http://www.bosscatlegacy.com/miscproto/Hbuilt/hbuilt.htm
This post is right up my alley. I love the old dragster sleds.:D :D :D :D :D Someday I'm gonna find one.
The last I heard, both of these sleds still exist.

Don't those 4 Vmax-4 engines mounted in that old top fuel dragster frame look sweet!!!

I thought I saw that Bud racer on Ebay a few years ago. Never saw what it sold for though.

Bummer, we had a post on this topic on the old forum, but I can't find it now. I guess it's gone. Anyway Paul Groth built the sleds and if I remember correctly, he lives somewhere in Wisconsin. We have a member who knows him and says he still has one of the sleds in his garage. Can't remember who it was that posted it.

ryan - The Sno-King with 4 engines was sold on ebay a couple of years ago.

Yeah man! With you doing the tuning and me doing the driving, I'll bet I could skip that sucker all the way across Lake Michigan!:4fzfk2: :4fzfk2: :4fzfk2:

Well, maybe halfway across (I need to lose some weight before I try that stunt).
