hi guys, new to the site.I currently own an 02 srx and now thinking about purchasing a 96 v-4. First of all it has 6400 miles on the old girl and also has psi modblasters with v-force reeds along with some clutch work.I've known the guy who's owned the sled for the past 8 years and he basically sold it to a kid he works with who only put 25 miles on it last year.I need some good feedback from you guys that know alot more than i'll ever know.Anything would be greatly appreciated!!!Thanks guys, looking forward hearing from you!The guy wants 2000.One more thing, it has xt suspension. What do ya think?

Welcome!!
6400 miles is no big deal on a Vmax-4 and the XT skid is a nice upgrade,
also the other mods are nice as well - if you got the cash I say jump on it....

WELCOME !!
as long as the sled has been taken care of I would'nt worry about the miles at all...these engines last when taken care of!! Mike

yep, Like others said...Buy a comp. tester and just keep an eye on things. When it starts showing lower compression, refresh the topend and ready to roll. Guys on here are seeing lots of miles out these sleds...Keep the mods mild and it will go for along time....If something happens, You have all the help you could ask for right here. I am Semi new to these sleds (2 years now) and everybody here is always ready to pitch in and help out when ever they can. 96' has a really good bottom end, keep the top fresh and you should be good to go.

Hey Al P thanks for the quick post!Greatly appreciated!I have a quick Question???How do you post a sound clip on this site? The reason why I ask is,the big max has PSI MODBLASTERS on her and would like to let some faithful max owners hear it!!Thanks(DAVE)bigtsrx!!!
