LOL Dean, just could'nt help it. It started out as a good thread, so lets pick it up where the good stuff was left. It would be a blast to go as long as it was a weekend of racing and not boxing. Can see it now,
"Jminor beats Skinners ass at anchor bay" and not on his sled,,,LOL
A litlle friendly competition Josh? I think Toydoc made you guys a hell of an offer to come come over there and have him help you get your stuff dialed in. Chris knows his shit and I would hate to see you guys throw an opportunity like that away over some chicken shit. The whole idea is to get your max the way (key word) "YOU" want it. Take advantage of the knowledge thats out there, could save you allot of money and headaches.

Da "RACE RIG"? LOL
Sounds great!! I was thinking of driving my old ragedy motorhome down there also, it aint much to look at, but it works.
maybe I should sneak down and see toydoc BEFORE the meet, and get a little spicing up help with my vmax4..LOL, really though, no doubt, he would be able to dial my sled in alot better then I, I`m still very wet behind the ears on clutching..but I do have a few clutch parts to work with..but in all reality, I`m running a heavy 240 studs, with steel backers, and I weight in at around 240lbs not to mention, my track likes to ratchet so I gotta run er a little tight, wish I would have been able to get the extroverts, so I could lesson the drag a bit, but ohh well, maybe later.., so anyway, I would`nt expect to be beating anyone in any races..but it would still be fun to play around..maybe I should rope a friend of mine that literaly stands about 5.6, and weighs about 135 soaking wet to ride it for me?? LOL, just kidding, but not about my friend, that is a true description of em..LOL
We could do a fake pinks thing, not really give up our sled, but just barger out races, and see who the best sandbager is.. LOL

actually I am considering this. What is the date and will I be forced to hear how Skinner only runs 660' and anything else is out of his tuning realm? I could probably get ya close on some setups since you have helped me out in the past. Thanks again dave. Black Knight. ..:17

Maybe I'll get this one out of storage in the barn and bring it along.
Shark
LOL, you win mark!!
speaking of distances, I would much rather run 660 myself..
obvioulsy some guys are gonna show up with lowered suspensions, ice pics, proper gearing for whatever distance, jetted right on the edge for the most power, crispy kreme donuts and all, but I`m just bringing my pretty much stock vmax4 trail sled, might have the pipes on it, but it wont be no where near setup for any kind of real drag racing, but still, it should be fun for all.

When are your plans for The SOO trip? This is Near where Allen is trying to get riders to meet for the Stump Ride.Pine Stump is about 30-45 minutes further north,But I'm sure it does not have to be the specific destination.

What I was geting at is that if their trip is scheduled near the same relative time it could be possable to adjust with the guys to make one big happy ride.

Anydates work for me, (no snow=unemployed) Ill bring my 800. I trail ride it. Distance dont matter to me. Id just wanna play with the limiters, suck up the front struts and tweak the carbs and clutch to see what it would do. Id just like to see some other v4s and how you guys got them setup and do some comparisons, try to learn me a thing or two ya know.

Question 1) NO
Question 2) NONE
Question 3) N/A
Question 4) N/A
There ya go FATHER FLANNIGAN. Al, I think your replys to some of this is ridiculous. I will stay out of these posts as well as Josh, Tony, Quadzilla, and on and on. No sense in fighting, I hope you get the answeres your looking for
THE END
Look..there are guys that have posted in this thread, that are serious about meeting up, and have ask questions, and got absolutly no answers..
is it really too much to ask, to get down to bisiness? how about some feed back on date`s? how about some talk on place`s to stay? how about some talk on who would be bringing what? some guys have tried to do that, but others have just continued to post jokes, digs, ect..I`m not inocent myself, i`ve posted a few things also, but just think its time to get serious guys, and see if we can make it happen..
I`m not trying to be a dick here, but time is flying by, and would really like to get serious, and see what we can figure out, without all the confusion of extra post, that have absolutly nothing to do with meeting at anchor bay..
Jminor, if your still seriously considering making this, what dates are good for you?
would you be staying for the weekend?
Vmax535...I`ll try to get ahold of toydoc, and see what he thinks. as far as a place to stay, I`ll see what I can do about that also..

I know your right Master. That cold air is swingin on down and if this moisture stays around like it has all year were in for some serious snow.
Maybe the old adage will hold true "Good things come to those who wait"
