Hi, I'm Matt and I am in cental utah. I am the proud parent of a 92 750 that needs a little TLC. It takes about fifty pulls to start when it's cold (literally). Once it starts it stars on 1/4 pull after that. it smokes pretty heavily after start up and doesn't seem to be really clearing up. The PO (previous owner) claims bad gas from last year left in the tank.
Track is in great shape, hood looks ok with a couple small cracks in it. The choke bar in the carbs is hopelessly rusted and won't move so maybe that's why it's hard to start.
So I'm here to learn about these machines and get this one back in top running shape without bankrupting myself. We'll use this machine primarily for tearing across lakes for fun and sometimes for ice fishing. I have two boys who will be accompanying me on ice fishing trips and that's why I had to have a yamaha. Back in the day I had an exciter and loved that thing. Totally reliable.
Oh and I've noticed there are some Suomen around here. I spent a few years Suomessa. Hyvaa Suomi!
