Well, I'm back at work after going to the Novi Snowmobile Show last night. It was snowmobile heaven, as always. I got 2 giant Yamaha bags full of catalogs, literature, brochures, and coupons to go through.
The Yamaha display was awesome, as usual. Got to sit on some of the new iron. Very nice, but I'll keep my Vmax-4, thank you. Steve Agdorny was there with his crew. I didn't get a chance to talk to Steve this time as he was keeping busy in the Yamaha compound. I did talk to John Brezloff (hope I spelled that right), one of Steve's crew members. I told him that we were happy to have Agdorny Racing as members here. He said that they are just out there racing and doing what they love to do. They didn't realize that we were watching them until they came and checked us out. They're gonna think I'm the vmax4.com ambassador or something. I'm just thrilled that they're still racing the Vmax-4 professionally. Don't worry guys, I'm not a stalker! The Improved Stock 800 Vmax-4 sled was in the Wiseco booth.
I got a chance to meet lokn4sno at the Port Yamaha booth. Got a Yamaha shirt for my Grandson. It's a little big, but he will grow into it. Thanks Jeff. I hope you and Jeff are able to come up to the Vmax-4 ride in the U.P.
Stopped over at Rich Motorsports a couple of times, but Rich has such good deals that he was mobbed with customers!
Aaen performance had a badass 4-wheeler sand dragster. I wish I had brought my camera. It looked like a 4-cylinder Banshee.
I walked around the place a dozen times. Didn't want to miss anything, ya know? I have to say that I wasn't too impressed with the new hall. I actually found it harder to find my way around because it's one big open space, nothing to get your bearings on, like the food court.
Anyone else have a chance to go yet?

I forgot to mention that I talked to a guy at the Reichard's Performance Center booth and asked him about the legendary 6-cylinder Vmax-4 engine. I wanted to know if he had any information on it. He said no. I asked if there was maybe anything left over at the shop that he could email me and he said he didn't think so. He said that there were only 2 produced. They were 285Hp and cost around $10,000 to develop. He doesn't know where they are now.

No, I walked around there for 4 1/2 hours and never saw him, but there were a lot of people there. I wore my new vmax4.com hat and a couple of people asked me about it, so I told them about the site.

I was there! we may have walked right by each other but never seen each other, becuase we were to busy staring down at the tables full of goody`s:D I got some parts from rich at rich motorsports:D, i was in contact with him prior to the show, and he brung my stuff to the show for me. (THANKS RICH!!!), It was pretty cool. i seen steve, but he was pretty busy it looked like talking to some people so I did`nt want to walk up and interupt. No I did`nt see the vmax, which REALLY sucks!! and speaking of coupons and what not, my ole lady was grabing so much of that stuff, we had to make two trips out to the car to drop the stuff off. we have a pile that you would`nt believe. another thing along them lines, is my ole lady talked me into filling out EVERY "you could win this...." entry ticket. including filling out several tickets for the new yamaha.:D. now when it comes to the lay out, I agree mark, it was kinda hard to keep track of what lane ya had already been down, i like to never found rich. for you other members of the site that was there, I dont know what you look like, so I dont know if I seen you or not, but you may have seen me, i was the shady looking biker dude, wearing a leather vest with a bunch of patches on it. I stuck out like a sore thumb:D

Hey AL,P I got some Patches here put aside for you. Let me know when you would like them. One has the black background the other white with vmax4.com written in royal blue.

I sent my snowmobile jacket out to get the patches put on. When I get it back will post some pics. I hope to get people more interested in getting some to help promote the site :)

I was there from about to ten to five until 9:30. Thought it was a good show, I agree it was hard to get your bearings in such on open area. Sorry I didn't know what you guys looked like, may have seen you.

I was wearing a Yamaha rep shirt and a Totallyamaha hat, hung out in the Yamaha booth for awhile chattin and answerin questions. Always good to be around Yamaha fanatics, it was an expensive night though!

Shark- Enjoyed talking with you about our favorite sleds --- The V-max 4.
Sorry I didn't have the right size T for your grandson. Ran into a number of folks who had questions about the mighty 4's at the Port Booth across from the factory display. It was a blast talking to others about their own rides. I'm hoping to make the UP ride this winter among recruiting a few new members (riders) to the site from SE Wisconsin.

P.S. I know Rich was at the show all weekend! The Port Yamaha crew, Rich Motorsports crew and Tom & Terry from TY spent alot of time together during the off show hours and we all had a great time!

Thanks to everyone for making the Novi show another huge success in 05.
