Holy shit guys! Tony's sled is flying today. The damn camera is too slow to catch it for Chist's sake. Here's a pic of the first race Dean and I got to see. All you can see is the loser as Mark was already gone, look for the dust in the far lane.:frech32:

Okay, here is pic of the Vmax4.com member turnout. Beast From The East was there earlier in the day but had to head back East! Buster was there too but no where to be found. I'm pretty sure he was filling Jacobey's NOS tank with pee.

Great finally seeing myself on Tony's 4Banger. He doesn't like running my video camera,so I never get to see how it looks. I didn't think I beat that Mach that bad-kinda hard to see when your eye balls are getting shook by that thing. It's a blast riding what is probably the fastest 800 Vmax4 stocker on the east coast.( 86+MPH) in 500ft. Please remember this race track has no traction on the starting line for a sled like Tony's. If it had a clay starting line we would do even better. I had to wrestle the sled for the first 100ft just to keep it in the lane. Told Tony at the end of the day I had to go home and take a nap. lol

Finally had my sled out (96 - 800) last Saturday. Motor ran strong. ( 3:16 clutch set up) to strong. Was at Puslinch Lake in Ontario. I'm running a ripsaw with a 02 Viper 10.5" in the rear, no studs. I wanted to stretch/set the track befor I pick it. Anyways got kind of scary above 95 mph to loose. Lake had about 4" of powder that didn't provide a lot of traction even for the ripsaw. Heading to Northbay on Thursday. I will let you know what happens.

I liked this post allot too. Nice to see that your still looking around on the site. Cool that you got another older SRX. My friend wants me to post some parts in the classifieds for him. My friend did say it something about a Exiter engine in it. So there were no STX models sold in the U.S.A? She is a sweet looking machine to see.

RDL, my stx had 1300km all original, the sled was mint except for the hood wich I smashed from hittinmg the truck.....I bought it from the lady that lived across the street.......it was here ex boyfriend that had left it there....then I sold it to some kid in Barrie that was going to use the motor for some other sled project.

WELL, THERE IS NO TIMERS AT JACOBEYS BUT I BELIEVE THEIR ARE RADER GUNS. I ALWAYS HAVE MY GPS ON BOARD. WE WERE RIGHT AROUND 86.6 mph THERE LAST YEAR. I THINK OUR BEST RUN WAS A 89.3 !! 3:16 (tony)

THIS IS STOCK TIMES, THE BEST F-7 I SAW RUN 79.8. i know this because he used my gps. BUT 60 F.T. LIKE A SOB. THE BEST SRX I SAW WAS A 01 THAT I BELIEVE RAN 83. MY 2000 SRX WOULD PROBLEY RUN LOW 80,s. FASTEST SLED OF THE WHOLE SHOW WAS JACOBEYS BENDER TURBO. I BELIEVE THEY RAN 98.9 IN 500 F.T. !! WE HAD A OPEN MOD 1000 ON NOS THERE WITH US TO RUN THESE TURBO,S BUT TRACK WAS JUST TO ROUGH FOR THAT SLED. 3:16 (tony)
