I just wanted to put some pictures of the 12,000 square foot, office building we started on, a week and a half ago. There are 4 of us now and thing, go a little more smoother with an extra guy but I am still beat by the end of the week!
The other pictures are 1 of the restaurant we built and a office/ dentist office with another building in the background that is Curves and a foot doctor in it. These were done with only 3 of us.

By the way Doug how many bundles of shingles in that last photo? One big job dong that roof.
Nice work, they don't build anything like that around here.....
Nice work indeed! Lots of working hours in that.
Off topic : do anyone of you watch the "extreme make over - home edition" where they buld houses ? I´ve wondered about that 7 days when they first tear the house down and then build it up again, almost all new. Is there enough time for that cement to dry? They seem to start building so fast on top of it that I´m afraid it will crack.

I`m gonna geuss, between 450 and 600 bundles. I`m geussing the roof is somewhere around 150 to 200 square?
GREAT WORK DOUG!!! I can imagine you would be pretty wore out at the end of the day doing all that work.

Very nice, Doug. It must be a great feeling of satisfaction driving by those buildings and know that you built them!

I will go back in my records and check excatly how many square it was.
Shark - It is a great feeling in a way but when I get to see the land that used to be around the area and know it is just houses and buildings it's sort of sad. I hope I can find the pictures of some of the houses we built. There were 2 of them that were out of this world for around here. We are back and fourth right now on the building in the picture, to starting another house, to almost finishing the first stage on another house addition ($750,000) The shower the guy got for his addition was $17,000!! We are always way to busy!!!!
RDL- I will put it this way, my boss treats all of us, way to good. He is hardly ever on the job site and is always in the office trying to get more work. I have never worked for someone like him.

for real? the roof in your last picture? I thought for sure thier would have been way more than that? the picture must be decieving, i did a 150 square roof a few years ago, and did`nt think it looked as big as that one? is the forth peak on the right, part of that roof too?

No, the fourth peak on the right is not part of the building. I am sure that is how many square is on the roof, I even checked with the boss' records.
