Ok I finaly got the upgrade from the original system to the newer Wilwood system. I got the part from Bender. (Last one) but they may make more if there is a demand. It's just an aluminum plate about a 1/2" thick and is drilled and tapped for the Wilwood calipar. I got the Calipar from my old 98 ZR I parted out. The upgrade only uses the outer half of the calipar. (the side with the piston) and also used the stock Yamaha pad in the other half of the setup. I cut off the lower mounting tabs on the calipar to make it look more like it belonged on the sled instead of some bolt holes with no mounting bolts in them. I used all the original bolts to mount with some spacers I made. Also for the small bolt that holds the pad in I had to make a little channel for the head of the bolt to fit with my Drill press milling setup. I used the ZR master cylinder, and for the front half of the clamp I used a Yamaha one from a 2000 Viper (I think). I cut off the parking brake lever and the cable guides and then cut the rest to fit around the master cylinder. Then sanded and painted. It gives it a very stock look not all cobbled togeter. I just plugged in the dimmer switch straight in the stock plug because it's a yamaha dimmer and then spliced the Yamaha plug on the end of the ZR Brake light switch and plugged it in. Thier is no bleeder on the new setup so you have to use the brake line connection bolt to bleed it. Running the line from the master cylinder to the calipar was alittle difficult because you don't want it to rub or move alott. I still may put a bracket to hold the line connecting to the calipar to hold it tight. Here are some pics. What do you think?

Really cool looking upgrade. That is possibly the best thing what you can do to your V4 along with the PSI quads...:sled:

Great work with the brake setup bly123.

Now after seeing it done will have to add it to my wish list!

I am with RDL. It will be on my wish list, too. Very nice job, Bly.

It really wasn't that difficult to do. The plate is simple enough, You could probably make it your self if you have the tools.

How much that cost you to do? I might do it if it's cheap.

It was like $20 for the plate and I had the rest of the parts already. Probably another $65 to $75 on top of that if you had to buy the rest of the parts used.
