got it all done, but on the outer cover for the speedo unit, theres 3 bolts that hold it in... the top bolt wont go in, its all stripped out. what should i do?
I would use a Grade 8 nut and bolt with a lock nut or lock washer, As a temporary fix. Then order a new backing plate with the welded nuts on it and a new bolt. Make sure if you use the nut and bolt it clears all rotating parts..

When's the last time you checked your chain tension or oil or opened it up and checked it all? Worn gear/missing teeth/loose chain makes clunking noise on take off...Blue

it doesnt just do it on take off, it does it even from a roll
Sounds like the track is slipping on the drivers, Or your drive shaft is cracked in half, Had that happen once. I assume theres no ice build up in the track... Did you look at your belt and clutch alignment when it engages??

track is probably ratcheting

its not the track ratcheting, someone said it may be the jackshaft, the belt and clutch alignment look good. no ice buildup, its indoors
Do you feel it by your feet when it happens, Or just hear it? Take the belt off and run it and listen to the jack shaft and primary spin. Take a long wood rod and put it on the bearing of the jack shaft and listen, You will be able to tell if the bearing is bad..
