I have a 1995 VMAX4 that I'd like to rebuild. The Chassis is a little on the rough side. I've found a couple 1996 Chassis and was wondering if there was really any differences in the chassis.

Any of you gurus know of anything that was changed that would make a 1995 transplant to a 1996 Chassis difficult or impossible?

Thanks,

I think there are no differences between those two years.

I can't see them changing much if anything. I'm sure they knew the 97 was going to the trailing arm suspension, etc., and the 96 would be the last year with the TSS.

97 is the last year. 95 to 96 I think was just a colour change and secondary sheave angle change, others may confirm this or correct me though.

The biggest difference you may run into is if you had the Mountain Max version. The Mountain Max V4 has a narrower ski stance than the regular V4.Other than that, Bolt the chit on and go.
