JOSH, MINE WAS A GECKO. I BOUGHT IT AT RADIO SHACK. IT ONLY GAVE YA TOP SPEED AND MAXX SPEED. THE DEFFERENCE WAS TOP SPEED WOULD CHANGE AND WAS GREAT FOR CHECKING HOW ACCURATE A SPEEDO WAS.. MAXX SPEED WOULD NOT UNLESS YOU WENT 1 MILE A HOUR FASTER, WHICH WORKED GREAT FOR 500 F.T. !! 3:16 (yammie tony)

Jminor, look no further---> http://www.racelogic.co.uk/?show=VBOX-Products-VBOX_Mini

Vbox mini , just awesome. Tells acceleration times , speeds , av. speeds etc.

Friend of mine uses Vbox on his work. There is no other system what gives better info. According to him , mini costs under 700 $ in USA.

Vbox uses camera memory card and it has own computer program were you can see all. Everything how you want it. Distance compared to
time or other way.

Example program can find every acceleration 0-60 mph (you can deside speed or timegap what you are looking for)from day of riding.

I was thinking this one but how is it hooked up and would it work on a sled?

Josh have you contacted these guys yet to find out if the rpm input will work with sleds?? I think this unit would be a great tuning tool!!!

I have a Gtechpro and i use it on both my sleds. The rpms wont work but 0-60 and hp to the track works ok. If it is a little bumpy or too much vibration, it kinda wiggs out. The 95 max4 with quads is showing 100 hp at the track with a 0-60 time of 2.9 seconds and the srx 700 shows 75 hp. For the wiring I just made a pigtail that plugs into where a heated visor would plug into with a cigarette lighter plug on the other end.

Called GTECH and they will not recommend the use of there GPS with a snowmobile or boat!!!! I really do like the RPM logging and speed logging features of this unit but would like to know more on the connection of the rpm sensor wiring. The girl I talked with could not get into many details and the tech guys where at lunch. Hope to get more info tomorrow....

Don't know much about this unit but if it uses a stardard input like a tach then you should only have to set it for 8cyl. (90 degee firing) or 4 cyl. (180) and tap into either coil input wires for it to pickup the pulses...Blue

Nevermind, I see they pickup on electrical noise and not actual direct input
