hello everyone,
i have not posted much here at all. summer came along and my interests all went elsewhere (vmax still being in the back of my head though). i did want pipes for it, and maybe a bit more mods as well. heres the thing, though, i am 15 in grade 10 tech class. my teacher seems like a cool guy so far and has welcomed us to bring in any sleds, atvs, dirtbikes, lawnmowers etc. to work on in class. so, i was wondering if the vmax would be too difficult to work on? more specifically, put pipes on and maybe some more done to it if you guys think i can handle it. I've heard alot that, if i have to ask, then the answer is no. but, i do have a fair idea of how it works and my tech teacher knows a bit about sleds himself. i would also want to clean the carbs before winter as well, i know that it is not too difficult of a job. but as for adding pipes, that means carb tuning and jetting correct? i really wouldnt know wat else would go with the pipes and add performance. i also would not know what pipes to purchase ( i want quads no matter if i do them myself or have a local guy do it) im leaning to bender pipes. btw my crank is already welded. theres alot on my mind about the vmax and i dont want a super long and confusing post so ill leavve it at this for now. ive used search alot but i feel i need more specific questions answered for what id like to know. thanks for your time.
EDIT: quads are not really a must, maybe stock 800 pipes?
