Welcome to our cult.....I mean club. :welcome: :welcome:
I used to ride with an airline mechanic who was very into Yamaha sleds. He told me that they were testing a new 4 cylinder sled and my first thought was "no way!". My second thought was "If Yamaha builds it, I will buy it". I don't remember ever seeing a '92 at my local dealer, they were probably hard to come by. They had a '93 on the floor when I went in the following year and I bought it. I found your article on the development of the sled very interesting, especially the part about choosing pink as an accent color for the skis. I got a lot of ribbing in the early days about the "pretty pink skis and sliders", until we got out on the lake and all they saw was white snowdust!:3speechle :3speechle Any other articles, info, links, or pictures you could share of the early development of the sled would be greatly appreciated by all of us.
