Has anyone here lightened their own brake rotor? There sure is alot of weight in these vmax-4 rotors, I've been looking at mine considering drilling it and maybe machining some material from the hub.
If anyone has a picture of a lightened one I'd like to see it.

Well, at least there's one picture of a brake rotor here: http://www.vmax4.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=3140&highlight=brake+rotor
There were a few on ebay last season. Those things are hardened steel to start with, and get harder with all of the heating/cooling cycles. You'd probably have to use a cobalt or carbide drill bit and have a good way to hold it flat with support underneath.
