What oils are acceptable to the gear case. I have never done it! (two years/ 1200 miles)
Does it use the same as the chain case? IE: Torco scc 100% syn. chain case oil?

Also noticed after taking sled into heated building to get ready that I have oil dripping out under sled. Seams to be comming from the chain case and dripping off the drive shaft, but have to investigate further. sled sat all summer, might this just be a dry seal?

Any thing else that Needs to be done? I started and ran up to temp. Checked over the none engine items and I'm golden.

Just want to make sure that the 4 cyl. is well taken care of.

75/85/90 gear oil in both for trail use. Sythethic best choice. If the leak is from the drive shaft seal in the bottom of the case, replace it!...Blue

I'm using Royal Purple Synthetic gear lube, 75/90. I like it alot, after 2000 miles its still purple and way less metal shavings than ever before. A little on the pricey side though $$$$.
