Today is Veteran's Day here in the USA. No matter where you are though, let a Vet or current Serviceman know you appreciate them. If you see someone, put your hand out and just say thanks for your service. It will make their day...:flag_usa:

My son gets to come home for my wife's surgery next week and then back to Iraq. Hope they leave him here long enough for Christmas. Been a couple of years since he has been home at this time of year. He is a Corporal in the United States Marine Corp now and works on the C130 airplanes. Keeps him out of the bad stuff most of the time. We are all real proud of what he has volunteered to do in this time of war to defend this great nation. There are a lot of people in this country that have the FREEDOM to due whatever they to do that do not understand why we are over there but it has to be done. Saw a bumper sticker that kinda sums it up the the day and it read: If you can read this thank a teacher and if it is in English thank a Veteran. I will get down off of my soap box now. Dean thanks for the space to print this and Red white and Blue for your website dedicated to the people of our Armed Forces. Thanks Dave Harshe (turbo 4)

Dave, Tell Jesse when you talk to him we all thank him. Glad to hear he is doing well and is safe.
Hope all goes well with your wife's surgery and prayers are sent.
Dean

PS you can post as much as you want, there is no soapbox here, LOL...
Anything for our Vets..!!:):)

Turbo, Dean already said it well enough! I really would like a pic of him and his buddies over there and a current address. Xmas is coming up soon!

Skinner, your a good man.

Remember, it doesn't have to be Veterans Day, Memorial Day or anything to show your appreciation. Those days to me, are just to remind you what should be on your mind each day you take advantage of this great Nation and all it has to offer you. Canada included!

Hey all,

My Dad served in WW2, he was based in Montecasino Italy, from 1941 to 1945. My father has seen alot of thing's happen. When ever we go visit my parents I give my Dad a hand chack, he thinks it's to say hello, realy it's to say thank you for making the world a better place to live on.
ThanX Dad.
