Just wanted to share some info on my summer project and give a big thanks to everone especially Mark the Shark,Racerrob,Ike and Wildmaxs install post. Finaly have the skid installed ,was not as difficult as I expected. Ran into a few problems at first the back mounting bracket holes were off 1/16th and the aluminum reinforcement plate was to thick(was 1/2" had to mill to 3/8") after fixing the skid lined right up!removed both transfer rod bolts had no problem installing myself. next problem the track! decided to buy a 1.25" ripsaw(wish i would of done a little more research on here) the dam track is rubbing up front at coolers!! decided to paint tops of lugs white to see exactly were its rubbing.let it run for about 5 minutes and checked was not as bad as I thought I have some light marks but not as expected I thought was planning on trimming but thinking maybe I will ride and see?? any way I think it looks great. last time my sno flap was dragging on the ground now the flap is 12" offthe ground!! There saying were supose to get some snow on sunday so i"ll take a trial run around the hood and wake up the neighbors with my stingers!! if my work doesn't fall apart the next project complete refinish. i'll need a set of side panels for the 94.thanks to all great site!!!pete

Very nice!!! I like the way that is sitting. I need to do something with my suspension. I HURT after trail riding on an ungroomed trail. Once again, nice job. Let us know how it rides!!!!:goodp:

That Ripsaw is rubbing on the front coolers? I thought the closest spot with Wildmax's install was at the middle upper area at the tunnel coolers. My project that will get finished some lifetime, has about 1.38" between upper roller wheels and top coolers. What is the room at the front coolers on yours death grip4?

PS..That sled looks Killer!! I like your windshield too.

Apparently the early models, 92 for sure doesn't have a front cooler. At least mine don't. Just the rear and the two up in the tunnel.
