This summer I just bought an 02 Viper blue with a 121 that was still in the crate for $4200. I set out to buy a custom MPI tunnel for a 162 track length, Bender triple pipes, VForce3 reeds, Holtzman ATAAC, new Maverick Camoplast 162x2.25x16, putting a Summit suspension on with rail extensions, 2 8in flame billet wheels by PEM, and a Freedom axle kit to use the big wheels with allowing me to run 2,3,or 4 wheels on the rear of my suspension, I also put a blue mtn bar by Fabcraft, some of the new blue Yamaha mtn skis, and a left hand throttle onof my kits.

More pics later, Justin

I am not sure on the tunnel weight but they MPI said that the kit is ssupposed to shave 12 -15 lbs off of the mtn viper

Look'n good Justin. Those pipes are really suppose to wake the Viper up. Something like 30 hp I've been told. Does that sound right to you?

Hey all, took the first test ride ran decent still have some clutching to do ran the stock secondary and settings, and Polaris primary with 60 g and an almond/blue spring turned 45 mph track speed while climbing while turning the 162x16x2.25 and running 7500-8000 rpm instead of 8600 where the Bender pipes make their peak power. so at least 600 off peak all the time. Will tune a biit next time will have that PEM secondary back to tune with sent it out to get a new hubto match my Vipers jackshaft. that will make iit perform way better here s a pic.

PS the pipes make about 33 hp

So, comparing it to your V4... How does the Viper stand out? Better handling for sure, but about that power then?

Looking really good!

Power wise not as powerful but close I can throw it around easier. I think I have a total with buying the sled and everything $8500-8700. So really to much money tied up in it but it turned out great. I know there is more performance to be found in it with the clutching being that far off. Later

I just recently got the aftermarket secondary that I was running on my V4 on there and went up into the mtns and tried a 7 different combos of weights springs and helixes. Got about 2 real good setups that hold rpms and pull real hard. Here is another pic of it with the decals off.
