Why'ed you never race Phazers and Exciters through the 80's. I've glance at your collection, nice. Did you ever run a 77 SRX and or did you run an 80 SRX through the 80's?
Listen man, I am willing to let by-gones be by-gones. Life is way to short to waste it being irked at some dude in cyber land. Oviously we have different opinions but share the same passion for Yamaha sleds and have been blessed to some degree to represent the aforementioned.
Usually people who are upset and full of anger seemingly possess the same characteristic of the person they are upset with-"Friends of Bill W." quote.
I do apologize for the AMSnow slam, but the phone call was over the line, I hope you realize this. So, rather than be eternally p-o'ed why not be men, real men, and shake hands. That is after all what real men do. My hand is out. Wha cha say?

I NEVER RACED EXCITERS AND PHAZERS BECAUSE MY SRX,s ATE THEM UP WITH NO PROBLEM. AND YES I RAN A 77 SRX UNTIL THE VMAX 800 CAME OUT. PICTURES ARE POSTED HERE. NOW, MORE INPORTANT MATTERS, I,LL SAY AFEW THINGS, THAN I AM DROPING THIS. I CALLED YOU BECAUSE YOU BLASTED ME ON AMSNOW. MATTER OF FACT THEIR WEBMASTER E MAILED ME THAT NIGHT AND TOLD ME THEY WERE BOOTING THAT POST AND PROBLEY YOU. I WANTED TO TALK TO YOU BECAUSE YOU SAID I WAS SCARED OF YOU IN THAT POST IF WE EVER MEET. DON,T THINK SO DUDE!! THAT SORTA OF RASIED MY TEMPER WAY UP, BUT I REALIZED LATTER IT WAS A MISTAKE ON MY PART!! YA KNOW YOU SORTA CRASHED ON THE SCENE HERE WITH ALOT OF SMOKE, WHEN I CALLED YA ON IT, YOU GOT ON MY CASE UNTIL THE ZILLION GUYS I HAVE HELPED HERE CALLED YA OUT. THAN YOU TRYED TO BACKSTROKE INTO THE NICE GUY ROUTINE WITH THE MR 3:16 SHIT!!. LIKE I TOLD YA, I HAVE NOTHING TO PROVE TO YOU OR ANYBODY ELSE. BUT LET ME SAY, I DON,T KNOW IT ALL AND I AM FARR FROM THE FASTEST. MATTER OF FACT, MANY HAVE HELPED ME HERE. BUT MY RESULTS ARE ALL OVER THIS SITE. PICTURES, VIDEO,S, SET-UPS, etc. SO MAYBE I DOING SOMETHING RIGHT. ALL YA CAN DO IS TRY, I REMEBER YOU TELLING ME ONCE YOU NEVER HEARD OF ME!! THATS FINE, JUST OUT THERE LIKE YOU AND EVERYBODY ELSE TRYING TO PUT ON A GOOD SHOW. THATS THE GAME DUDE.!!!!! 3:16 (tony)

Gotcha on the Phazer /Exciter thing, but obviously the Phazers were running fan classes then weren't they? What classes did you run the SRX in? Obviously you could bump up, but not down. I mention the Phazer because of the McNally days. No one touched Charlie. But oh well.
I know you've got tons of pic's etc here. Obviously you have the good digital camera. My pictures are all the old style. Not sure who would care to see 'em anyway so I don't bother. Full respect for most of your set ups, but my thing was the driver cuts the light. I set up and race. I know-I know, save weight - we all know how important weight is to win, I have been asked several times to drive heavier guys sleds, and have (one particularly nuts out fast SRX comes to mind) anyway...I thought you made it sound as if you drove. I didn't think that beating the F-7 twin was anything and the picture of sending him home with his tail between his legs was too much for me. Ah well -not important.
Bygones are by gones and perhaps we'll see ya at the track. I'm running a few classes with my build for giggles. The way I found the site is time off from a near death work injury. And, I've learned that life is too short to not do what you love. And for me thats build, race and build some more. I retired from the serious scene in 01 but still get lots of requests and try to help when I can. To keep a gift I believe one must give it away.
Take care and best of luck racing. Go on the green right? Ha, ha....
God bless.

It served its duty to me well. It sold very quickly with lots of response. Sorry I can't help. It was a D&D racing type and worked great. You know all the make shift one's you see at the track, the ease of this one was super. Even new at I think $179 (with battery) it was well worth it.
Still got any V-Max 4 belts? Would the 800 one fit my 92. I think they were all the same, weren't they? You took me back when you posted this, I remember selling my 87X's to my buddy.
I'm rockin' again for giggles in the 500 foot dash on December 4th. I'll let you know what happened. Take care and Happy Turkey Day.

FOR SHUE RUN THE 800 BELT, THE 92 BELT OR 750 BELT WAS THE 89A BELT WHICH YAMAHA DISCONTINUED. THIS WAS VERY HARD COMPUND. CAUSED OVER REV. IN 95 8BU 800 BELT WAS STANDARD ON 800 VMAX 4 AND ALOT SOFTER COMOUND. THIS CURED OVER REV, AND ACTUALLY GRIPED SHEAVES BETTER AND WORKED WAY BETTER ON HIGHER H.P. 800. I HAVE ONE GOOD USED 800 BELT FOR SALE. ITS GOT ALOT OF LIFE LEFT AND LOOKING FOR $50.00 BUCKS FOR IT. 3:16 (tony)

I THOUGHT THERE WAS A FOR SALE SECTION ????????
There is,,,,,,,,, but sometimes, if someone is offering a super good deal, or trying to let everyone know about something for sale quickly, they`ll just post it in the general forum. it seams that most of us, tend to browse through here more often, or atleast first, before we check out other sections. atleast thats the way i see it. usually if someone is not in a hurry or is selling an item that "may" not be a quick seller, or a "special item/deal" they`ll just put it in the for sale section. and just wait awhile to see if anyone is interested. i know this sounds strange, but after ya hang out for awhile, you`ll kinda get a feel for how we sometimes do things:D
