View Full Version : It lives!!! Long time coming
Well fellas, I can honestly say its all done...Some fine tuning to do yet, but so far everything has been good to go. I started this project over a year ago and feels dang good to see it all in one peice and working well. Thought I would share a few finished pics with you. Its hard to see, But the paint is a base coat(black),clear coat, with red matalic. Took me awhile to figure out if I liked it....But it has grown on me now. Couple quick things about the sled. custom tunnel, Aaen quads, EGT's, Boysen reeds. The red carpet was just for laying on while working......I'm not that cheesy......

VERY NICE J
Roll out the red carpet for "JEREMYS Vmax"
Like the polished alu look. I´m going to do my ski´s nest summer + some other stuff. Give some info how you got your sled so shiny.

The tunnel came polished...I just did a finished hand polish on that, The front susp. knuckles and other stuff, Just a buffing wheel on a bench grinder and lots of compound...No tricks. Have to thank Dave (skinner), When I needed Parts, He would help find them, or sell me stuff he had...some I know he didn't want to get rid of....Thanks!

what kind of tunnel..? how long 136"..?
I believe...the tunnel was built by Anderson drag chassis..I bought it from somebody already made...I just shortened it 12 inches. The skid is a 136 proaction, extended to a 144.
Thanks for the compliments....I know it will be a work in progress for a few years to come.....But you get the basic idea.
Man that looks GREAT!!! nice work!

Awesome looking sled! :4fzfk2: :4fzfk2: :4fzfk2: The red tint in the paint shows up in the first picture. I'll bet it will look awesome in the sunshine! Warn us first if you post a picture outdoors so that we can put on our sunglasses!
After all that work it deserves to be on a red capet! Great job!
