Looks like we may get some good snow amounts in the next 24 hours!!
I just spent the last few hours getting the ole polaris 500 ready, and my vmax4..
just did the basic check up stuff, IE checked the oil, various nuts and bolts, plus I scuffed up my clutch a bit, and belt, lubed my clutches (with dry silicon spray, rollers, wieghts, and secondary helix ramps, shafts ect..figured I better add this in here, before someone thinks I may have lubed the sheaves..LOL).. and had to fix the carbides on the polaris..my bro brian managed to bend both of them pretty bad last time out..
it was my fault really though..I could`nt find any decent carbide runners for an old 1980 polaris, so i got some that were a bit short, so the front of them, where they go through the slot in the skis, was barley reaching the slot in the skis....so a couple of curbs later..LOL
Anyway, I just cut up an old none carbide runner, and welded a couple short pieces on the ends of the good runners, to extend them farthur in the ski slots...
I have the feeling there`s gonna be a few guys out and about around these parts tomaro..usually is when its been dry for a bit, and we get a good one...just want to be prepared incase I run someone..LOL
Be safe out there guys!!

P.S....IF..I happen to notice an odd color in the snow..I will not be test tasteing..LOL
